It's Windy Around Here

We're tucked in next to the garage at Glory Farm just like we were last year. It's good to be back again with a couple projects to do while we're here.

The wind is blowing pretty good. Weather report said 25-30 miles per hour with gusts to 45 miles per hour.

It's enough that the chickens are teaming up to stand against it,

and it blows BJ and Turk around when they're out for a walk. I'm really glad that we don't have to tow in this wind!

The cows don't seem to be affected, although I suspect Agnes will be looking for someplace out of the wind when she calves soon.

  1. Looks like you are having a great time on the farm....just read some of Ellen's posts!

The photo of the Grand Coulee Dam looked familiar....could not remember due to seeing so much but we were there about this time last year. Stopped to take a break from the heat.

Enjoy your trip! It's very hot back in Phoenix!
