Alaska Arrived!

The Alaska contingent arrived Saturday morning shortly after midnight. Signs of their arrival was obvious the next morning with hockey sticks in one corner and gear bags in the middle of the great room.



It didn’t take long for Spencer to offer to take the dog for a walk – twice. This is the first time he’s seen Turk since we left Alaska in August with a dog that was still very hurting from his Fairbanks experience. It’s been a fun reunion and the boy and dog are having fun together.




Spencer dove right into helping with preparation for our late Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow, peeling potatoes and making pumpkin pies including the crust.


The hot tub and the hammock were tested as well,






before heading off to the Coyotes / Blackhawks hockey game where some of the out-of-town visitors were impolite enough to root for the visiting team as they trounced the home team!
It’s going to be a fun few days!
